Learning the fundamentals of computer science, networking, and operating systems. This was where curiosity became a habit—understanding not only how software works, but why systems behave the way they do.

IT Helpdesk
Supporting users and enterprise infrastructure built a practical understanding of Windows, networking, Active Directory, hardware, and troubleshooting. It taught that reliability begins long before code is written.

.NET Developer
Automation replaced repetitive administration. Built internal enterprise applications with ASP.NET Core to simplify IT operations, including Active Directory self-service portals, DHCP management, administrative dashboards, and workflow tools. This was where software became a force multiplier for infrastructure teams.

Focused on designing APIs, databases, background workers, and distributed services. Building production systems introduced the realities of scalability, concurrency, and resilient architectures.

Owning products end-to-end—from user experience to backend services, deployment, and CI/CD. Modern web applications became opportunities to balance usability with maintainable architecture.

The focus shifted from applications to platforms. Kubernetes, GitOps, observability, infrastructure automation, and homelab experimentation became the foundation for building reliable cloud-native systems.

Exploring edge-native architectures with Cloudflare Workers, D1, KV, R2, Durable Objects, and Hono. The goal is to build globally distributed applications where infrastructure becomes simpler while performance and scalability improve.
